Recalled when we asked you to always use your Original details while registering for JAMB? Well, here is one of the major reasons. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board have disclosed that they will be sending the results of each candidate’ to their Phone number as SMS (Text message).
Speaking on this, JAMB’s spokesman, Dr Fabian Benjamin disclosed that the board will contact all candidates through their phone numbers when the 2023 UTME results are ready.
The board’s Head, Media, and Information shared this important message in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NaNs) in Lagos State, Nigeria.
According to Dr Fabian, all candidates who participated in the recently concluded 2023 UTME should not believe the rumours and misleading information shared in Social Media.
It is no secret that the 2023 UTME exercise was conducted nationwide starting from Tuesday 25th April 2023, and ends at 3 PM, Monday 2nd May 2023.
The UTME board disclosed that more than 2.1 million candidates registered for the examination and participated.
Don’t forget that when the result is out, you can use Check JAMB Result Without Pin and Check JAMB Result With only Registration Number.
Speaking on the issue of rumors of UTME result being result and steps on how to check JAMB result, Fabian disclosed and I quote below:
“Candidates should disregard this information of the 2023 UTME result being out, as it is not true. This rumour is not coming from the board”.
“All participants in the recently concluded exercise should take note that no results have been released yet. Although all Results are ready, we are yet to release them because they are still being officially confirmed.
The results are ready, but the board is carrying out a thorough check and balances regarding these results by way of viewing all CCTV cameras placed in the Examination Halls. The board is also attending to all issues which are brought before it during the examination period.
“Take note that the release of the result will be published very soon once the board is through with all it has set out to achieve. UTME participants should not bother themselves going to any cyber cafe to check any result because we’ve not yet released it for public viewing.
“Once everything is settled, the board will forward the results to the respective telephone numbers of candidates who deserve to see their results”.
The Spokesman for JAMB disclosed that the UTME management board are intensifying efforts to make sure that the results of deserving candidates will be released this week.
