The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB management has disclosed that it has suspended nine out of the 700 Computer-Based Test centers in Nigeria.
These centers were originally accredited and allowed to register students, taking part in the ongoing registration exercise, but due to alleged engagement in illegal activities, which involves in charging candidates more than necessary and engaging in unauthorized use of registration SIM in a manner that is inimical to candidates’ interest.

The 2019 JAMB CBT Registration centers which are affected include;
University of Benin ICT Computer Based Test (CBT) and DA Civic Centre, both in Benin City, Edo State;
Mardakem Company Ltd., Oron, Akwa Ibom State;
Bintels Global Services LTD, Aguleri, and Noble & Shuaib ICT Ltd, Alor, Anambra State, among others.
Other UTME registration centers suspended are situated in Plateau, Oyo, Benue, and Ondo.
These include;
Global ICT Connect Ltd at the Benue State University, Makurdi;
Medes ICT Centre, Idepe, Okitipupa, Ondo State;
Divine Success All CBT Centre, Iseyin, Oyo State,
Riyom ICT Centre, Plateau State.
While speaking on these suspended centers, the JAMB PRO, further disclosed that it is currently monitoring activities at about 10 centers in Lagos and Plateau states, after which the board management would meet on 28th of January to take appropriate action on these centers.
