The latest JAMB news reaching us today is that the result of 2019 Candidates is ready. However, there is a reason why JAMB will cancel the results and centers of all participants in the just concluded 2019 Exercise.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) management has disclosed through its Head of Media and information, Dr. Fabian that it will cancel the results of those who cheated in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
We were made to understand that this comment was made by the JAMB Head of Media and Information, Fabian Benjamin, on Sunday in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Speaking on the cancellation of UTME Results and Centers, Dr. Fabian said and I quote below;
“If we establish any case of breach of agreement or examination malpractice in any center that partook in the recently concluded 2019 UTME, such center will be shut down and the entire results of candidates who wrote in that center from the commencement of the examination, which was April 11 to the end, Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 will automatically be canceled”.
Speaking on the outcome of the affected candidates, Dr. Fabian said and I quote below;
“Candidates affected by this decision will automatically be rescheduled immediately for the examination in another center.” If you remember, the board canceled the entire results of some centers in Abia State, and the candidates were re-scheduled.
JAMB’s Head of Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin disclosed to news Men during an interview in FCT. Abuja on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019, saying that the delay in the release of the result of all UTME 2019 participants is due to the massive fraud and impersonation recorded during the conduct of the examination.
Till date, we are still waiting for the release of the 2019 UTME result of all candidates who participate in the recently concluded exercise.
