A few hours ago, the federal government of Nigeria in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, officially close all Federal and state universities, Federal and state Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education over the fear of Corona Virus (known as ConVid-19).
Now, news circling is that the JAMB 2020 Examination for candidates who are yet to write theirs has also been called off. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board authorities, through it’s official Twitter, debunk the rumor.

Speaking on this issue, the JAMB management quickly dismisses rumors circling around the internet that it has canceled all its scheduled exams due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
This is to bring to the notice of the public, that the JAMB board has not rescheduled its examinations as being rumored around.
All examinations would end on Saturday, the 21st of March 2020, with the few candidates in Bayelsa state and Rivers state only who were earlier scheduled to sit for the examinations next week.
The Board is using this medium to advise all candidates in the two states to reprint their jamb slip and see their new examination venue and time as adjusted by the board.
